Jen at Edible Essence has been creating beautiful wedding cakes for couples for three years, 2018 is now entering their fourth year. Within this short time Jen has undoubtedly showed incredible talent, creativity and professionalism with the end of her first year of business in the wedding industry winning the South West Wedding Awards for Best Wedding cake Designer in 2016. She then went on to become nationally acclaimed after being awarded winner of the National Wedding Cake Designer of the Year in 2017 at the prestigious "The Wedding Industry Awards" after her second year in business. This website also received great recognition and awarded UK National Finalist in the Best Website Category for The Wedding Industry Awards 2017 and 2016. 2018 has brought another fabulous award having been shortlisted in The UK Wedding Awards with the Finals being announced in Spring 2018.
Within these three years Edible Essence cakes have been featured in an abundant of national and international magazines online blogs and social media posts.
Edible Essence has recently moved into in their newly purpose built kitchen/studio in the beautiful Devonshire village of Tamerton Foliot. All of their delicious mouthwatering cakes are made from only the finest ingredients including locally sourced Cornish farm butter, farm free range eggs and homemade jams from the local farmers market. With a strong ethical approach on the environment using only recyclable or biodegradable packaging also contributes to the South West economy by sourcing local produce wherever possible.
